Bariloche is a vibrant city with a fantastic food, drink, and chocolate scene. At the base of Cerro Catedral, the Base Lodge has a popular bar. In town, Cerveceria Berlina and Cerveceria Wesley brew excellent Patagonian craft beer. Manush is a standout craft brewery. Popular bars include South Bar, Pilgrim, and Cerebro. Bariloche's Calle Mitre is lined with famous chocolate shops — Mamuschka, Rapa Nui, and Del Turista. Traditional Patagonian lamb asado is a must-try. The nightlife runs late in true Argentine fashion.
