Snow Shoveller & Hand Salting Crew (Winter 2026/27) $25–$30/hr | Guaranteed 25 Paid Hours/Week Whistler Snow Removal is hiring reliable team members for manual snow removal and hand salting positions for the 2026/27 winter season. If you’re dependable, physically capable, and comfortable working early mornings in winter conditions, we’d love to hear from you. What We Offer • $25–$30/hour, depending on experience and physical ability • Guaranteed minimum of 25 paid hours per week beginning November 1, 2026, regardless of snowfall • Paid training, equipment orientation, and site walkthroughs in late October/early November • Potential staff accommodation for the right candidate • Reliable seasonal employment with a professional team • Opportunities for additional responsibility and higher pay Higher Pay Potential • Opportunities for wage increases based on performance, reliability, experience, and physical ability • Additional earning potential during major snow events • Higher pay available for team members who take on additional responsibilities Leadership Opportunities • Advancement opportunities for motivated team members • Potential to move into Crew Lead and Supervisor positions • Leadership roles come with increased responsibility and higher pay • Company vehicle may be provided for eligible leadership positions What We’re Looking For • Must live in Whistler or Pemberton • Valid driver’s licence preferred • Available for early morning starts, typically around 4:00 AM • Reliable and able to consistently show up when required • Comfortable working outdoors in winter weather • Physically capable of shovelling snow and spreading salt or ice melt • Able to work independently and as part of a team Responsibilities • Shovel snow from sidewalks, walkways, stairs, entrances, and other assigned areas • Apply salt and ice melt by hand as required • Complete assigned properties efficiently and to company standards • Help maintain safe access for residents, customers, and pedestrians • Assist other crew members as needed during larger snow events • Take care of company tools and equipment Season: November 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027 Training: Late October to early November To Apply Send your resume to info@snowremovalwhistler.ca or send us a direct message.
