Snow Plow Operator (Winter 2026/27) $25–$35/hr | Guaranteed 30 Paid Hours/Week Whistler Snow Removal is hiring experienced operators for the 2026/27 winter season. If you’re reliable, professional, and have previous experience operating heavy equipment, we’d love to hear from you. What We Offer • $25–$35/hour, depending on experience • Guaranteed minimum of 30 paid hours per week, regardless of snowfall • Last season, operators averaged less than 20 hours worked per week while still receiving guaranteed pay • Paid training, equipment orientation, and site walkthroughs in late October/early November • Full seasonal schedule begins November 15, 2026 • Potential staff accommodation for the right candidate • Modern, well-maintained equipment • Reliable seasonal employment with a professional team Positions Available • Loader Operator • Skid Steer Operator • Snow Plow Truck Operator • Sidewalk Snow Removal & Salting Higher Pay Potential • Opportunities for wage increases based on performance, reliability, and experience • Additional earning potential during major snow events and by taking on additional responsibilities Leadership Opportunities • Advancement opportunities for motivated team members • Potential to move into Crew Lead and Supervisor positions • Leadership roles come with increased responsibility and higher pay • Company vehicle may be provided for eligible leadership positions What We’re Looking For • Previous experience operating heavy equipment • Valid driver’s licence • Available for early morning starts, typically 4:00 AM • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team Responsibilities • Clear snow from roads, driveways, parking lots, and walkways • Complete assigned salting routes using mechanical or manual application • Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance • Work with the team to complete snow removal efficiently during winter weather Season: November 15, 2026 – March 31, 2027 Training: Late October to early November To Apply Send your resume to info@snowremovalwhistler.ca or send us a direct message.
