Local Life & Community

Après & Nightlife
Pas de la Casa is the party hub — essentially a duty-free party town on the French border. Underground Bar, Paddy's Irish Bar, Milwaukee, KSB (Ku de Sa Bar), and La Nit nightclub. Soldeu is more relaxed: Fat Albert's (legendary British bar), Villager Bar, and Aspen Bar. Pas de la Casa's cheap alcohol and proximity to French university towns make it wild on weekends.
Healthcare
Hospital Nostra Senyora de Meritxell in Escaldes-Engordany/Andorra la Vella (20–30 min from slopes) — Andorra's main hospital with full emergency services. Medical centres in Soldeu and Pas de la Casa. Pharmacies in each village.
Shops & Services
Duty-free shopping is a major draw — electronics, perfume, tobacco, alcohol at reduced prices. Andorra la Vella has large commercial centres (Pyrénées department store, Illa Carlemany). Supermarkets (BonPreu, Carrefour) in the towns. Banks, ATMs, and services throughout.
International Community
Large — very international workforce with significant Spanish, French, Portuguese, and South American communities. Growing British and Eastern European presence. Andorra's multilingual nature means diverse nationalities. Many workers are cross-border commuters from Spain and France.
