About

EU/EEA citizens can work freely under EU freedom of movement. Non-EU citizens need a Swedish work permit, which requires employer sponsorship and proof that the position could not be filled by an EU citizen. Working Holiday Visas are available for Australian, New Zealand, South Korean, and some other nationalities (ages 18–30). UK citizens post-Brexit require work permits.
Recruitment Timeline
SkiStar begins recruiting in August–September for the winter season. Hotels from September. Bars and restaurants from October. Swedish language is helpful but SkiStar and international hotels hire English speakers for guest-facing roles.
